How do I add Spotify playlist to Instagram?
Add Music From the Spotify App
You can add music to your Instagram story by grabbing it from the Spotify app. With a song playing in Spotify, tap the ellipsis icon and choose the Share option. Tap Instagram and you’re taken to your Instagram story, where your selected song appears with its cover art.
Tap the three dots > Share > Instagram Story. It should be the second option on Android and the third on iOS. If you’re not seeing this, be sure to reinstall not just Spotify, but Instagram too. If you see the option to display more sharing options, always open it to check if it’s at the bottom of the list.
Share your Canvas to Instagram Stories
To include your new looped artwork on IG Stories, go into the Spotify app and click “Share” on the track featuring your Canvas. Once it’s live, instead of a static image, you’ll have your loop in the background of your Story.
Tap the “Your Library” tab at the bottom of the screen.
- Open the playlist you wish to share from the list of playlists. Select your playlist. …
- Tap the three dots in the upper right hand corner of the screen. Tap the three dots. …
- This will open a pop-up with a long list of options. Tap “Share.”
To share, simply select the “…” icon from the top right corner of your screen while playing a track, and select Instagram Stories. (Just note: Audio will not play on Instagram, and fans seeing the Canvas in the app will not be counted in Canvas metrics unless they click through to Spotify.)
If you don’t have the music sticker on Instagram, it may be because: You live in a country where the feature isn’t available. Music is enabled on the app in over 90 countries, but due to Instagram’s strict adherence to copyright law, it’s disabled in some countries. … You may need to simply update Instagram.
This is probably because your Instagram app is not updated. The music sticker feature only works with updated apps, so the problem might be that you’re using an outdated app. Most phones automatically download and install updates, but if your mobile device isn’t one of them, you can update the app manually.
To share a Spotify playlist using the mobile app, first select a playlist — from the Home, Search, or Your Library tabs. The first thing you’ll see is the name and the cover art of the playlist. Beneath the description, you’ll see a heart, a download icon, and three dots. Click the three dots and a menu will open.
Share to social media directly from the Spotify app, copy and paste a link, or get a Spotify Code: Go to what you want to share and select the 3 dots next to it. Tip: You can also right-click it on desktop or web player. Select Share.
